Subject: Racism and Xenophobia
I'm writing you today to express my outrage over Senator Boxer's racist and xenophobic stance in relation to the UAE purchase. I resent the fact that Senator Boxer is equating all Muslims with terrorists. This sends exactly the wrong message. We should treat terrorists as terrorists and understand that they represent a very small fraction of the Muslim population. This seems like a cheap way to score political points off the backs ordinary Muslims.
For the record, I'm a staunch democrat, having voted a party ticket in the past six elections. I'm also a devout atheist. I'm surprised that the democrats are to the extreme right on this issue.
