I just picked up the new Dixie Chicks album. I can't say it's the first pop/country album I liked - that honor goes to Step Inside this House by Lyle Lovett, but it's probably the second. I'm really enjoying it. The promoting of the band as progressive country was a master stroke.

Moonbeam, this might get to you a bit late, but the Dixie Chicks are second halfhour guests on "fresh air" on npr usually on at 7 pm most stations.
